Friends and love ones of The Martini Family have organized a fundraiser to help them through a relentless storm of struggle over the past few years. Marty and Doreen instilled their children with the importance of family and community in their lives. Jesse, the oldest, was diagnosed with Autism at an early age. Despite the difficulties that can arise from the condition, their family bond only grew stronger. Marty was the director of the Minute Man Arc Agency in Concord, MA, devoting much of his time to helping those in need. The agency assists people with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout their lives. About three years ago, Doreen was diagnosed with breast cancer. Doreen’s ongoing health problems have been tough on the whole family. As if this was not enough hardship for one family to take on, Marty passed away suddenly in January due to a severe heart attack. This could not have happened at a more challenging time for Jackie, who was half way through her Senior Year at Lasell College in Newton, MA for fashion design. Despite the blow, she was able to finish her line with all 8 pieces and custom accessories in time for the Lasell College Senior Fashion Show. Her talent and skill did not go unnoticed, as she was offered an internship at an accessories firm in New York City. She humbly refused the offer because the family will always come first.

The family is holding together, but their financial future is uncertain. With outstanding medical bills, student loans, mortgage payments, and other expenses; it’s difficult just to make ends meet.

We will be holding a fundraiser in honor of The Martini Family at the Claddagh Pub in Lawrence, Massachusetts on Friday, September 28th. The hall and food are being donated by Brian, the owner of the Claddagh Pub. All money we raise will benefit the Martini family directly. We are also looking for donated items to raffle off and/or auction. There will be music, food, cash bar, raffle, and silent auction. Donations of any amount will be accepted to benefit the family.

The ticket price is $20.00. You may also donate even if you cannot attend.

If you are uncomfortable making a donation through the internet you may also send a check payable to the Martini Family Fundraiser. The mailing address is:

PLEASE spread the word, and invite your friends, family, anyone that can help!

If you know anyone that can donate a basket for a raffle or an auction item it would be greatly appreciated! We have a tax I.D. number for any item that is donated .

Thank you so much !
